iIn short: we ask only for information needed to create your account, confirm payment, prepare your subscription, and deliver it. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
This may include your name, phone number, login and verification details, delivery address or instructions, plan choice, meal and day count, allergy notes you choose to share, and payment status.
You may choose the “Use my location” button in the address form. We do not request or collect your device location automatically; we receive it only after you press the button and approve it in your browser. If approved, we add an approximate location pin to your delivery address to help the delivery team find you. You can leave this option unused and enter your address manually instead.
If you contact us, we keep a short record of the conversation or request so we can help and follow up.
Phone activation and account recovery
After payment is confirmed, we may ask you to confirm the mobile number recorded for delivery to open your account. We send a one-time phone code only as part of activating a paid order; we do not offer a general phone code to create an account before payment. In the browser where your account was activated, Firebase retains the identity confirmation so you can return without a new code. On a new device, you can request a one-time secure email link using the email in your payment confirmation, where available. The request does not disclose whether that email is linked to an account.
When Firebase Authentication is enabled, Google processes the phone number and limited technical information needed to secure paid-order activation and send the code, such as browser or device information and anti-abuse signals. We do not send your delivery address, meal details, or allergy notes to the verification service for this purpose. Google’s processing is governed by its own Privacy Policy.
How we use it
- To create your account, activate a paid order, and restore access to it.
- To confirm payment and record your subscription.
- To make the operational file needed by the preparation and delivery team available.
- To contact you about your subscription or a related issue.
- To improve site safety and performance and prevent unauthorized use.
Payments
When enabled, card information is processed directly by the approved payment provider. We do not display or store your full card number or security code.
Payment is processed by FLEX DIET RESTAURANT - L.L.C - S.P.C. We retain only the information needed to evidence the transaction and manage the subscription, such as a reference, payment status, and amount.
Who may access it
Only authorized staff may access your information, and only where needed to provide the subscription. We may share the minimum necessary with approved payment, identity-verification, or delivery providers.
We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising without your consent.
Data protection and retention
We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards. We keep operational information for as long as it is needed to provide the subscription, support you, and evidence the transaction, and keep records that must be retained for legal or accounting reasons for the required period.
When that need ends, we delete or de-identify information unless we need to keep it for a legal obligation or to protect an active claim.
Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you may request access to, correction, deletion, or restriction of your information; object to processing; and withdraw consent you gave us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed or records we must retain by law.
Email privacy@tastydietuae.com to make a request. We may verify your identity before acting to protect your account. Any marketing messages are optional and can be stopped using the method stated in the message.
